April

Hey everyone, welcome to April.

March was a busy month. I recorded/edited/posted a bunch of podcasts and YouTube tutorials, I made sure to post to all of my numerous social media accounts daily, and I taught an in-person Yin session at Moon Dreamz in Winter Haven.

The in-person session at Moon Dreamz went better than I could have hoped, and I will be returning on April 30th to teach another class. If the drive out there wasn't about an hour I would probably teach more frequently, but right now, it isn't in the cards.

Last month, while chattering with my husband about running, he declared that we were going to do a half-marathon. I immediately went about writing out a detailed training plan so that we could do it with about 12 weeks of training.

We trained for one week (3 sessions) and we both realized that neither of us has the patience to properly train for that sort of distance.

So, we slathered on the sunscreen and went out and slowly did the half-marathon without any training. We did stop a few times to get something to eat/drink since we literally didn't plan the thing at all. But, we did it.

Do I suggest anyone else just DO a half-marathon? No.

Does it feel amazing to have accomplished it? Yes.

Do I ever plan to do that distance, or a full marathon, in the future? Nope. I think I will stick to my 5ks and my 10ks. I just get so overwhelmed dedicating that much of my time to running. I have waaaaaayyyy too many other things to focus on.

I am on a lot of the socials, even though I would much rather not be. You can find my content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TiKTok, BlueSky, Threads, LinkedIn, and Mastedon

If you're not on any of those social media platforms, you can find the YouTube and Podcast content on my website, but you'll miss out on the daily mindfulness posts.

Well, I think that is all for right now.

Until next time, share love and peace everywhere you go.

Kris

What is karma?

I don't know about you, but the way I have always understood karma has been along the lines of "do good and good will come back to you,...
